ok so this is cheating a little bit and i've been a slacker, but i was going through some photos and found this one of dennis that i really liked from several years ago. so, here it is.

dingo was a bit jealous of his cousin getting an early entry into the blog so he decided to try both threatening me and then going the cute route. it worked!

time for a run

it's 61 degrees in january, so there's no better way to take advantage of alleged global warming than going out for a (slow) run, right?

christmas present

well, actually this delicious oreo cupcake was more like a new year's present, but it was a tasty treat nonetheless. contrary to what it may look like from the photo, santa did not make or deliver the gift, it was the fruit of janet's labors. you can never go wrong with oreos

i took mike's experience and eye as a professional artist to heart and pulled some of the reds a bit. good thinking, dr. artist!

good vs. evil

good ole blue had a great time with his (girl)friend abby visiting for a few days. this was just one of many tug o' war battle royales that transpired. either blue is stronger or abby heard what he did to the rabid raccoon and gave up easily most of the time.

pepere

what better way to start off a new year than a longstanding family tradition. my grandfather (aka pepere) gave us all the traditional new year's blessing, and then proceeded to school us in board games. look up t-bone in the dictionary and you will find a photo of this man.

on a technical note. this photo was taken using my newly gifted lensbaby, which is pretty fun to play around with.
